Companies Division

The Commission is responsible for the functions of the Companies Registry, which includes the incorporation of companies and the registration of documents required to be filed under the Companies Acts and related legislation. The Commission is reviewing and developing its systems within the Companies Registry to enhance the service it provides and develop and facilitate compliance with companies legislation.

John Wilkinson - Senior Manager, Companies Registry. John has been the Manager of the Companies Registry since 1995. He graduated with an Honours Degree in Modern Studies from Coventry Lanchester Polytechnic in 1980 and held posts in the Customs and Excise Division of the Treasury, Internal Audit and was latterly Head of Registries Division. He has an HNC in Public Administration and is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

John Wilkinson
Clive Oldale

Clive Oldale - Manager, Companies Registry. Clive joined the Civil Service in 1971. He worked in the General Registry Deeds and Companies Section as a Clerical Officer from 1971 to 1979. He then gained promotion to Executive Officer in the section and served in that role from 1979 to 2000. He was appointed as Assistant Manager when the Commission became responsible for Companies Registry from 1st April 2000.
